REFUND & RETURNS POLICY

At UJALO Green Energy, we aim to provide reliable EV charging hardware, software and technology solutions. This Refund & Returns Policy explains the conditions and process for requesting a return, replacement, cancellation or refund for products and services purchased from us.
This policy applies to purchases made directly from UJALO Green Energy, subject to the applicable quotation, purchase order, service agreement and applicable law.
1. Products Covered
This policy may apply to:
- AC EV Chargers
- DC Fast Chargers
- Bharat AC001 Chargers
- EV Charging Accessories
- Charging Management Software (CMS/CSMS)
- White-Label EV Charging Solutions
- Other hardware, software and services supplied by UJALO Green Energy
Specific terms may differ depending on the product, service, order and applicable agreement.
2. Return Eligibility
A return or replacement request may be considered under the following circumstances:
- The product received is damaged during delivery.
- The product received is defective or does not function as intended.
- The wrong product or configuration has been supplied.
- The product materially differs from the confirmed order or agreed specifications.
- Another return or replacement ground is available under the applicable agreement or law.
Customers should notify us promptly after delivery and provide the order details, product information, photographs or videos, and a description of the issue where reasonably required.
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory rights available under applicable law.
3. Conditions for Returning Products
Where a return is approved, the following conditions may apply:
- The product must be made available for inspection.
- The product, accessories, manuals and original packaging should be retained where reasonably possible.
- The product should not have been damaged by unauthorized modification, misuse, improper installation or operation contrary to the supplied instructions.
- The customer may be asked to provide the invoice, order confirmation or proof of purchase.
- Return shipping, collection and inspection arrangements will be communicated during the return approval process.
A missing original package or minor packaging damage will not automatically remove any mandatory consumer rights.
4. Non-Returnable or Restricted Items
Subject to applicable law and the specific order terms, the following may not qualify for a standard change-of-mind return:
- Custom-built or specially configured charging hardware.
- Products manufactured or procured specifically against a confirmed purchase order.
- Customized or white-label products carrying customer-specific branding.
- Software licences, digital services or subscriptions once activated or commenced, where restrictions are legally permitted and disclosed.
- Services already performed or project work already completed, subject to the applicable agreement and law.
- Products damaged due to misuse, unauthorized modification or improper handling after delivery.
These restrictions do not exclude remedies for defective, incorrectly supplied or non-conforming products where such remedies are required by law or contract.
5. Order Cancellation
Customers may request cancellation before dispatch, procurement, manufacturing, customization or service commencement.
Cancellation requests will be reviewed according to the order status and applicable purchase terms.
For orders involving customized products, advance procurement, installation scheduling or project-specific work, reasonable documented costs may be considered where permitted by the agreement and applicable law.
If an order is cancelled by UJALO Green Energy because we cannot fulfil it, any refund due will be processed in accordance with applicable law and the relevant order terms.
6. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
If a product arrives damaged, defective or different from the confirmed order:
- Contact our support team with your order details.
- Describe the issue and provide supporting photographs or videos, where available.
- Allow us a reasonable opportunity to inspect or troubleshoot the issue.
- We will communicate the appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, refund or another remedy, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
Electrical equipment should be installed and inspected by appropriately qualified personnel. Customers should not open or modify electrical equipment in a manner that creates a safety risk.
7. Refund Eligibility
A refund may be available when:
- A return is accepted under this policy.
- A confirmed order cannot be fulfilled by UJALO Green Energy.
- A refund is agreed under the applicable quotation, purchase order or service agreement.
- A refund or other monetary remedy is required by applicable law.
Refunds are subject to verification of the order, payment and relevant circumstances.
8. Refund Process and Timeline
Once a refund is approved:
- We will communicate the approved amount and refund method.
- Refunds will ordinarily be made to the original payment method, where practicable.
- Processing time may depend on the payment provider, bank or payment method.
- Any applicable refund timeline will be communicated during approval and will comply with applicable legal requirements.
If a refund has not appeared within the communicated period, customers may contact us with their order details.
9. Shipping and Return Costs
Responsibility for return shipping, collection, inspection and other associated costs will depend on the reason for the return, the applicable agreement and applicable law.
Where a return is necessary because we supplied an incorrect or defective product, the appropriate return and resolution arrangements will be communicated by our support team.
Customers should not dispatch a product before receiving return instructions, unless otherwise required by law.
10. Warranty and Repairs
Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions and claim procedures are governed by the applicable product warranty and purchase documentation.
A warranty claim may result in inspection, repair, replacement or another remedy according to the warranty terms and applicable law.
This Refund & Returns Policy does not replace or reduce any mandatory warranty or consumer rights.
11. Software, CMS and Digital Services
Software access, CMS subscriptions, integrations, onboarding and white-label services are governed by the applicable service agreement, subscription terms or order documentation.
Where permitted by law, fees for services already delivered or software licences already activated may be subject to specific cancellation and refund conditions disclosed before purchase.
Any service failure, material non-conformity or billing dispute will be reviewed according to the applicable agreement and law.
